HISTORY
Applied Filters began operations in the mid 1970s as a division of Ariel Industries making silencers and associated filter elements. While owned by a UK parent, Applied Filters had the autonomy to extend its reach and grow its product range to supply air and oil filters to many of the industrial and mining markets in Australia. Success of the business was built on knowledge of filtration technology, flexible manufacturing capability and a desire to design and supply specific products to meet the market needs.
In the late 1990s, Applied Filters had outgrown its home and moved to new premises in Kembla Street Cheltenham, Victoria where it currently resides. Furthermore, in 2004 the division registered as its own company and began trading under Applied Filters Pty Ltd (as it does today).
TODAY
Applied Filters Pty Ltd is now an Australian owned and operated company employing a local, experienced and knowledgeable team. Applied Filters makes a full range of air/oil separation filters, pleated bag cartridge filters and silencers using appropriate selected media for a range of specific applications, assembled with high performance polyurethane sealants and end-caps.
These products are designed and manufactured for the following applications:

- Dust collectors
- Truck vacs
- Primary, secondary and tertiary filtration
and used in the following industries:
- Waste water and sewage treatment
- Industrial refrigeration and air conditioning
- Mining, ore processing and refining

- Agri-feeds manufacturing and packing
- Clean-room operations
